Never in my wildest dreams and I imagine ever receiving this prestigious Kennedy Center honor through the years I watched so many of my heroes sanitized by colleagues and fellow artists always moved by the ability of music and film to bring us together to be the best in each other. I cannot wait to celebrate with my fellow honor eyes, friends, and family. Thank you for widening the circle to include all of us.

Amy’s bike accident also comes two years after she underwent it. For a heart condition called partial anomalous pulmonary venous return, she’d unknowingly had the condition since she was born and was diagnosed with it in February 2020 in honor of American Heart month last year. That’s what love is forcing or joining Good Morning America just bred awareness about the importance of heart help and sharing a message for other women. My birth defect was an encroaching killer and I had no idea and so my advice would. Take care of yourself.

The world needs you even if you feel like everything is fine, you don’t really know what’s going on on the inside and I think women tend to put their health on the back burner. It’s more like, oh, my children, my grandchildren. My work, my spouse, all of those things and. We need the gift of each other.
