Johnny Depp has been working hard to resurrect his career after he won the defamation trial against Amber Heard. He is due $10.35 million in damages, but money is the last thing on his mind. Has Disney finally sent an apology to the actor and asked him to return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise after countless requests from fans? Scroll down for more information!
Johnny’s career suffered a significant setback as a result of Amber Heard’s accusations. Not only did he stop receiving picture offers, but he was also fired from Fantastic Beasts 3 and Pirates Of The Caribbean. However, it is also said that Disney never agreed to include him in the next series due to his unethical behavior.
Disney has officially apologized to Johnny Depp, according to the Australian pop culture gossip site Poptopic.com. They allegedly made a nice gesture and even offered him a whopping 2355 crores ($301 million) to reprise his role as the renowned Jack Sparrow in Pirates Of The Caribbean.
“I know corporate gave him a gift basket with a very heartfelt letter, but I’m unsure how it was received,” a person close to the publication stated. But I can tell you that the studio has already written a script for a film about Jack Sparrow, so they are extremely hopeful that Johnny would forgive them and reprise his legendary role.”
However, no confirmation has been provided. In fact, the piece has sparked concerns since the sum proposed by Disney appears to be quite close to what Johnny Depp stated in the defamation trial.
If you recall, Depp previously stated that he would not return to Pirates Of The Caribbean even if he was offered $301 million. Furthermore, producers have previously stated that they have no intentions to bring Johnny back at this time. So it appears that this is simply another rumor!
Fans, on the other hand, would love to see JD return as Jack Sparrow!
